 School is back in session!

Fashion Bug - Fill the Bus Event

Fashion Bug will be holding a “Fill the Bus” drive in an effort to collect school supplies to benefit Harrison School.  The drive will take place at the McHenry Fashion Bug store at 1708 N. Richmond Road now through Saturday, August 21st.  Customers and community members are invited to donate school supplies at the store.  On August 21st a bus will arrive at the store, they will “fill the bus” with all the supplies collected throughout the month and then deliver the supplies to the school.

 Did You Know?

Did you know that during Spring Break, Harrison School District #36 completed its second phase of building renovation?  The installation of the solar panel, mini-wind turbine, and screen message kiosk will be used as a curriculum unit as we instruct students on alternative energy sources.  At this same time, the panel and turbine will generate enough electricity to power the lighting banks of five classrooms.  Harrison School District #36 participates in the Illinois Green Schools initiative.
